Robert is also an expert in negotiating and drafting international contracts for various objectives including dispute settlement, risk reallocation, joint development, licensing and nondisclosure. Robert Lelkes benefits from more than 20 years of practice in patent law in the United States as well as in Switzerland and Germany. Robert is a former US patent examiner who is also registered as a US patent agent. Additionally, Robert is a European Patent Attorney, via the European Patent Organization qualifying examination.
Robert Lelkes has a Juris Doctor degree in law and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, which he obtained from the Cleveland State University. He is a member of various societies and associations including the American Intellectual Property Association (AIPLA), the Intellectual Property Owners’ association (IPO), VPP, the German- American Juridical Association (DAJV), the Germany Chemical Society, GRUR, Intellectual Property Strategists, National Association of Patent Practitioners, US Patent Attorneys and Agents, and Global IP Exchange.
