Morton Larsen Earns Membership With Stanford Who’s Who
WINNIPEG, MB, CANADA, January 10, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- Stanford Who’s Who is proud to accept Morton Larsen to the distinguished ranks of leading professionals as a result of his outstanding effort in business management. Throughout his brilliant professional career, Morton has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.
Mr. Larsen serves as President of Interlake Marketing, which is a company involved in the distribution of category leading chemical products such as lubricants, rust inhibiters, which are designed to clean and protect equipment from both the environment and daily operation. Their utilization of advanced technology has led to the creation of products with numerous applications, including home, aviation, industrial, and marine uses Other products are aimed at the restaurant, nursing home and hospital industries.
Morton is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. He possesses extensive expertise in the design, manufacture, and sale of electronics and associated items. Mr. Larsen is a past member of the Audio Engineering Society. He was also the recipient of a Certificate of Achievement as a Sound System Designer in the field of electro-acoustics. Morton served 3 years in the Canadian RCAF as a VHF, UHF, and microwave technician.
Morton taught oil painting (landscapes) at the RCAF base in Cold Lake Alberta in his spare time, and has sold a few paintings over the years as well. His other interests include writing and wood working.
The most interesting time in his life was designing and creating electronic products for resale which culminated in RFID tags for Alzheimer victims, preventing them from walking out of a care facility, and a small RFID tag for born children that snapped onto their umbilical cord preventing their abduction from hospitals and birthing centers across the United States. This created a company of 25 employees in Winnipeg which designed and sold product in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Morton’s company was finally sought after and sold to a Western Canadian Consortium.
