Mokgaetse Matshidiso Kganane Enlists With Stanford Who’s Who

CENTURION, GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA, January 11, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- Stanford Who’s Who announces the addition of Mokgaetse Matshidiso Kganane to the ranks of premier professionals by reason of her work in the field of civil engineering. As a Civil Engineering Technologist with VGI Consulting Inc and throughout her entire career, Mokgaetse has consistently displayed the dedication, determination, and capability necessary to be considered among the best.

VGI Consulting Inc. started as Van der Merwe and Kroon in 1965, a consulting company dedicated to civil and structural engineering services. Following various changes in ownership, the company name was eventually established as VGI Consulting Inc in 2002. The expertise of VGI Consulting extends over multiple disciplines such as process, mechanical, civil, structural, geotechnical, instrumental, and electrical engineering. VGI is also one of the specialists in procurement and construction management.

Mokgaetse Kganane entails numerous and accountable responsibilities with VGI Consulting. She is in charge of the development of a multitude of technical designs, drawings, and procurement analysis for the company. Her educational background, talent, and dedication create a unique blend, appreciated amongst her colleagues and the experts in her line of business. Although she has a demanding schedule, Mokgaetse enjoys spending her leisure time playing chess or going to the gym.

Mokgaetse holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.   She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Project Management. She is affiliated with the Water Institute of Southern Africa, South African Institution of Civil Engineering, Engineering Council of South Africa, and South African Women in Engineering, SA Wom Eng.

Mokgaetse was also involved as co-founder in the establishment of SAICE (South African Institution of Civil Engineering) Student Chapter at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, which she chaired for two years. She was recently appointed the 2012 Treasurer of GirlEng Limpopo, a non-profitable organization that encourages high school girls to study engineering.
