Maree Townend Earns Membership With Stanford Who’s Who
DARWIN, NT, AUSTRALIA, January 18, 2011 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- Maree Townend has been accepted into the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who’s Who. Throughout her professional career, Maree has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
For the past 5 years, Maree has served as a Service Development Officer for the Northern Territory Department of Health. Her duties include liaison with non-profit organisations around grants based agreement negotiation and management, linking government outcome priorities to grant funding distribution. Maree also works closely with other state, territory and federal representatives on the implementation of key Government health initiatives such as teleheath and GP Super Clinics.
Maree has a 22 year background in nursing working across South Australia, Queensland, and the Northern Territory in acute, community and remote centres. Maree earned a Certificate IV in Health Promotion, Graduate Certificate in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a Diploma in Contract Management. She is a member of the ANZOG Institute for Governance at the University of Canberra.
