Lou is a nurse not only by education but also by calling. Dedicated, resilient, and highly skilled, Lou possesses the necessary medical knowledge and strength of character to be able to perform in such the demanding and strenuous sector of healthcare.  Her present responsibilities are related to medically supervised diets where she employs not only her medical qualifications but also the patience and motivation of her character. Her interests and leisure activities include farming, fishing, and hunting.

Lou is a National Certified Nurse and she also attends nursing courses at the University of Phoenix.  Her implication in various associations and societies with medical implications has demonstrated her outstanding capabilities and also her remarkably compassionate nature. She is an active member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, the Kansas Association of Diabetes Educators, the National Association of Bariatric Nurses, the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the American Nurses Association, the Kansas State Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Cancer Association of Diabetes.
