Sappi is an international paper provider covering 100 countries. Globally, their products are paper, paper pulp, and chemical cellulose. Paper products are designated to meet the needs of publishers, corporate end-users, or any other print applications suppliers in almost every industry. Chemical cellulose is used around the globe to generate viscose fiber, acetate tow, pharmaceutical products, and different consumer products. The paper pulp which is introduced in the production process of Sappi products is 50% manufactured in their own facilities while the rest of 50% is acquired from authorized suppliers. Sappi employs more than 15,000 people worldwide, holds manufacturing operations on four continents, and has a paper production capacity of 6.1 million tons per year. Additionally, Sappi can produce 3.3 million tons of paper pulp and 800, 000 of cellulose per annum.
Karen Hause is an expert Account Manager complementing her actions with technical knowledge and communication skills. She is the primary business contact for the customers and her responsibility is the satisfaction of the client. Karen designs and empowers various business development strategies in order to maintain a permanent business relationship with customers while presenting their requirements and expectations in the company with new business opportunities. In her free time, she enjoys surfing and traveling.
Karen Ruth Hause holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Genetics, and Biochemistry, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Stellenbosch. She is also a member of the Institute of Packaging in South Africa.
