Stepping into the first major Investor’s shoes, former IBM Executive – Rennell Garrett – announced this week to have joined forces with Gamble on Impulse Magazine. He stated he agreed to become an investor because he found the business model of this men’s online magazine to be scalable and profitable - as it was created for an extremely targeted audience. Garrett mentioned that since the audience was interested in the same masculine topics as he enjoyed, providing directional suggestions for relevant content would be extremely interesting and fairly easy.
Garrett previously worked as an Executive at IBM Corporation in sales and marketing, later branching out on his own as a website marketing expert , where he assists businesses - of all sizes - become more effective and successful online. As a consultant and Internet marketing businessman – Garrett credits his graduating from Ohio State University as giving him the start of his understanding about dealing with small and medium sized businesses, helping them to achieve greater exposure to maximize profitable markets.
