Basson Piek Earns Membership With Stanford Who’s Who

WESTERN CAPE, SOUTH AFRICA,   January 13, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- Stanford Who’s Who proudly welcomes Basson Piek to the distinguished ranks of leading professionals as a result of his remarkable work in the cosmetics industry. Throughout his brilliant professional career, Basson has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.

Mr. Piek serves as Managing Director of The House of Aloes, a company established in 1986 in close cooperation with local farmers which is involved in the manufacturing of the finest skincare and health & wellness products, derived from the aloe leaf. The percentage of aloe active ingredients in the company’s skincare and wellness products is calculated to approach up to 80% of the ingredients present in fresh aloe leaf gel. All of their products are manufactured according to uncompromising specifications and submitted to stringent quality control at several stages during production.

Basson has numerous responsibilities in his role as Managing Director, including strategic management, strategic marketing management, branding, operational management, value chain management, financial control and analysis, comprehensive reporting, and project management. Prior to his role with The House of Aloes, he served as Director of the International Division for Express Air Services, where he was responsible for full function as international airline cargo handler and general sales agent.

During his collegiate career, Basson earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Management Strategy from the University of South Africa. He is a member of the Cosmetic Toiletry Association of South Africa and an Association Member of the Cosmetic Chemist Association. In the time away from his busy schedule, Mr. Piek greatly enjoys golfing as well as fine wine.
