AdvisorsMD announced today that Rick Frederick has been named Director of Business Development.

Rick Frederick brings 20+ years of sales experience to AdvisorsMD in a variety of fields including managed healthcare, employee benefits, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. He has served on product-launch teams and held senior sales positions at Fortune 100 healthcare companies.

"Rick brings a wealth of healthcare business knowledge to the AdvisorsMD team. His understanding of the inner workings of a medical practice makes him uniquely qualified to deliver successful business development solutions to our clients," said AdvisorsMD principal Ashleigh McKenzie.

Frederick will lead the sales program for MDreferralPRO, a web-based business development solution for hospitals and healthcare providers who rely on patient referrals. MDreferralPRO is designed to simplify the process of managing physician relationships, while increasing revenue generated by newly identified referral sources.

Frederick holds a Business Management degree from Auburn University. A native of Mobile, Alabama, he attended St. Paul's Episcopal School. He now resides in Fairhope, AL.
