The “App Age” has arrived. Only people living under a “moon rock” for the past few years, could have missed how massive the multi-billion dollar app industry has become. Karadeniz believes that “more and more companies are noticing that they will be left behind if they don’t make an aggressive move now and their solution is to acquire app companies as a fast entry into the market.” He also stated, “Just look at Facebook. They already have a strong mobile presence, they are one of the most successful technology companies in the world, and yet they just paid a billion dollars for a single app. Instagram. This trend is here to stay.” Karadeniz has been a major player in the app industry for over three years and shows no signs of slowing down. The success of appreneurs like Karadeniz, whether through app development or the newest acquisition trend, is a testament to the app phenomenon that is growing by the minute with absolutely no end in sight.
